A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Uruguay according to Combate as Humberto Bandenay is in action against Luiz Eduardo Garagorri.
Bandenay (14-6-0-1NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Gabriel Benitez and Austin Arnett. Bandenay has secured just a single win in the UFC and that came against Martin Bravo at UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Bandenay has seen four of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won three of those encounters.
Garagorri (11-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Garagorri has competed eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those bouts ended within the opening round. Garagorri has competed a total of eleven times during his professional MMA career and only two bouts have gone the distance.
UFC Fight Night Uruguay takes place on Saturday, August 10 from the Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay with Valentina Shevchenko and Liz Carmouche headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
