Stevie Ray has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night London, replacing him against Marc Diakiese is Jai Herbert.
Newsome first reported the news, but the bouts spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Diakiese (14-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Lando Vannata and Joe Duffy. Diakiese hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year, with that last loss coming to Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Diakiese has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of submission.
Herbert (10-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and he does so while riding a six fight winning streak. Herbert is a former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion, defeating Jack Grant at Cage Warriors 106 to claim the gold. Herbert has competed a total of eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 21 from the 02 Arena in London, England with Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
