A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Busan as Ji Yeon Kim is in action against Sabina Mazo.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA first reported the bout, but its place on the card is unknown at this time.
Kim (9-2-2) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Justine Kish, Melinda Fabian and Nadia Kassem. Kim has competed five times thus far in the UFC and four of those bouts went to the judges scorecards. Kim has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of those losses came by way of decision.
Mazo (7-1-0) has won just one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Shana Dobson at UFC 241. Mazo has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia. Mazo is a former LFA Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Shannon Sinn at LFA 37 to win the gold.
