A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC 243 according to Kassem herself as Nadia Kassem is going to be in action against Ji Yeon Kim.
Kassem (5-1-0) is looking to rebound from her first professional MMA defeat, which came against Montana De La Rosa at UFC 234. Kassem has picked up just a single win thus far in UFC competition, with that victory coming against Alex Chambers at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Kassem has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Kim (8-2-2) has won two of four bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Justine Kish and Melinda Fabian. Kim hasn’t picked up a victory in just over a year, with that last win coming at UFC Fight Night Singapore in June of 2018. Kim has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of those defeats came by way of decision.
