A heavyweight division attraction is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night Moscow according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as #3 Junior Dos Santos is in action against #6 Alexander Volkov.
Dos Santos (21-6-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Blagoy Ivanov, Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis. Dos Santos is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, defeating Cain Velasquez by first round TKO at UFC On Fox 1 to claim the gold. Dos Santos is going to be headlining his seventh straight UFC card, holding a 4-2-0 record in those previous six headlining opportunities.
Volkov (30-7-0) is looking to rebound from his first UFC loss, which came to Derrick Lewis via third round knockout at UFC 229. Volkov is also going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place in October of 2018. Volkov is a former Bellator MMA Heavyweight Champion, defeating Rich Hale to win the gold at Bellator 84.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, November 9 from the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia with Junior Dos Santos and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
