Justin Ledet has been pulled from this weekends UFC Fight Night Minneapolis card, where he was supposed to battle Dalcha Lungiambula in a heavyweight division affair.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, but didn’t specify an exact reason for the withdrawal or how long Ledet is expected to be out of action for. Lungiambula is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for Ledet.

Lungiambula (9-1-0) is set to making his UFC debut this weekend and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. Lungiambula is a former Extreme Fighting Championship Heavyweight Champion, defending the gold four times before signing with the UFC. Lungiambula has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those encounters went the distance. Lungiambula would also be competing for the first time in a year, as his last professional MMA bout took place in June of last year.

UFC Fight Night Minneapolis takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Francis Ngannou and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
