A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till as Justin Tafa faces Raphael Pessoa.
MMA DNA first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Tafa (4-1-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Juan Adams at UFC 247. Tafa has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter, with that loss coming to Yorgan De Castro at UFC 243. Tafa has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and every bout ended by way of KO/TKO.
Pessoa (10-1-0) has also won just one of two when competing in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Jeff Hughes at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Pessoa has also suffered just one loss as a pro MMA fighter and that came to Ciryl Gane at UFC Fight Night Uruguay. Pessoa has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till takes place on Saturday, July 25 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Robert Whittaker and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
