A lightweight division attraction has been added to the UFC card on July 18 as Marc Diakiese faces Alan Patrick.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Diakiese (14-3-0) comes into the contest riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Joseph Duffy and Lando Vannata. Diakiese has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Diakiese has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
Patrick (15-2-0) has won three of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over the trio of Damien Brown, Stevie Ray and Damir Hadzovic. Patrick, much like Diakiese, has suffered all of his professional MMA losses while competing in the UFC. Patrick has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those bouts went the distance.
The recently announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, July 18 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
