A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Columbus at Matt Brown takes on Miguel Baeza.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Brown (22-16-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Diego Sanchez and Ben Saunders. Brown hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that last loss coming to Donald Cerrone at UFC 206. Brown has picked up twenty two wins as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Baeza (8-0-0) has already picked up one win under the UFC banner, having defeated Hector Aldana by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night Tampa. Baeza also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, defeating Victor Reyna by unanimous decision. Baeza is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has already lasted over four years.
UFC Fight Night Columbus takes place on Saturday, March 28 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio with Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
