A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Tampa according to Futures MMA (via Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA) as Hector Aldana is going to be in action against Miguel Baeza.
Aldana (4-2-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped bouts to the duo of Kenan Song and Laureano Staropoli. Aldana hasn’t picked up a professional MMA victory in almost six years, with that last win coming in November of 2013. Aldana also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Enrique Marin.
Baeza (6-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Baeza also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, defeating Victor Reyna by unanimous decision. Baeza has picked up a total of six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of KO/TKO.
