A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to MMA Brasil as Michel Prazeres is in action against Ramazan Emeev.
Prazeres (26-2-0) will enter the contest on the strength of an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years. Prazeres has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with both of them coming in UFC competition against Kevin Lee and Paulo Thiago. Prazeres has been undefeated since moving up a weight class to welterweight, having previously competed in the lightweight division.
Emeev (18-3-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Alberto Mina and Stefan Sekulic. Emeev has seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish. Emeev is a former M-1 Global Welterweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti by fourth round finish to win the gold at M-1 Challenge 63.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
