A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Shenzhen according to MMA Fighting as Mike Grundy is going to be in action against Movsar Evloev.
Grundy (12-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Nad Narimani by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night London. Grundy is going to be entering the contest while riding a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Grundy has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against UFC veteran Damian Stasiak at BAMMA 19.
Evloev (11-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost five years. Evloev is a former M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion, defeating Alexey Nezorov at M-1 Challenge 76 to win the gold. Evloev has competed a total of eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those encounters went to the judges scorecards.
UFC Fight Night Shenzhen takes place on Saturday, August 31 from the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China with Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
