Report: Neil Magny vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio Headlines UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires

A welterweight division attraction is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires according to Raphael Marinho of Combate as #8 Neil Magny faces #10 Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Magny (21-6-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit and Craig White. Magny is headlining his first UFC card, despite having competed in the promotion for well over five years. Magny was supposed to fight Alex Oliveira next month at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo, but Oliveira will need a new opponent now.

Ponzinibbio (26-3-0) enters the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years. Ponzinibbio has headlined one UFC card before, as he defeated Gunnar Nelson by first round TKO at UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Ponzinibbio has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and none have come by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires takes place on Saturday, November 17 from a location to be announced in Beunos Aires, Argentina with Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
