Report: Paul Felder Steps In vs. Rafael Dos Anjos At UFC Vegas 14

Rafael Dos Anjos needed a new opponent for the UFC Vegas 14 main event after the withdrawal of Islam Makhachev and now he has one in the form of no. 7-ranked Paul Felder.

Dos Anjos (29-13-0) has won just one of his last five in the UFC with that lone win coming over Kevin Lee at UFC Fight Night Rochester. Dos Anjos is a former UFC lightweight champion, defeating Anthony Pettis to win the gold at UFC 185. Dos Anjos has competed as a lightweight and welterweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 18-11-0 in the promotion.

Felder (17-5-0) has won two of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over James Vick and Edson Barboza. Felder is winless when competing in UFC main event fights, dropping a bout to Dan Hooker at UFC Fight Night Auckland. Felder has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of decision.

UFC Vegas 14 takes place on Saturday, November 14 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Rafael Dos Anjos and Paul Felder headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
