A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Beijing card according to Farah Hannoun as Pingyuan Liu is going to be in action against Martin Day.
Liu (12-5) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Damian Stasiak by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Liu will enter the contest on the strength of an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over five years. Liu also competed a total of eight times in the Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation promotion, winning five of those encounters.
Day (8-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a three bout winning streak. Day also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 6, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Jaime Alvarez. Day has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one coming by KO/TKO and the other coming by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 24 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
