Report: Randy Costa Faces Boston Salmon At UFC Fight Night Boston

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Boston according to MMA Junkie as Randy Costa is going to be in action against Boston Salmon.

Costa (4-1-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Brandon Davis via second round submission at UFC 236. Costa has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round. Costa had previously competed in the Cage Titans promotion, where he picked up four wins by way of KO/TKO.

Salmon (6-2-0) is also winless thus far in his UFC tenure, having dropped a bout to Khalid Taha by first round TKO at UFC 236. Salmon also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 1, defeating Ricky Turcios by unanimous decision. Salmon has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts ended by way of submission. 

UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
