A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo according to Combate as Renan Barao faces Douglas Silva De Andrade.
Barao (34-8-0-1NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight losing streak and he hasn’t picked up a victory in over three years. Barao is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion, defeating Urijah Faber to win the gold at UFC 149. Barao has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of decision.
De Andrade (25-3-0-1NC) is making his UFC Featherweight Division debut in this encounter, having previously competed at bantamweight. De Andrade has won three of six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Cody Gibson, Enrique Briones and Marlon Vera. De Andrade has picked up twenty five wins as a professional MMA fighter and nineteen of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
