Report: Ricardo Ramos Faces Said Nurmagomedov At UFC Fight Night Fortaleza

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Fortaleza according to Farah Hannoun as Ricardo Ramos is going to be in action against Said Nurmagomedov.

Ramos (12-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the trio of Michinori Tanaka, Aiemann Zahabi and Kyung Ho Kang. Ramos has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Manny Vazquez by first round submission at Legacy Fighting Championship 51. Ramos has picked up twelve victories as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of submission.

Nurmagomedov (12-1-0) is also undefeated in UFC competition, having beaten Justin Scoggins by split decision at UFC Fight Night Boise. Nurmagomedov enters the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Nurmagomedov has seen eight of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and Nurmagomedov won seven of those encounters.

UFC Fight Night Fortaleza takes place on Saturday, February 2 from the Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil with Raphael Assuncao and Marlon Moraes headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
