A featherweight division affair has been added to UFC Fight Night Singapore according to Real Fight PH as Rolando Dy is going to be facing Shane Young.
Dy (9-6-1-1NC) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Buren Wuliji at UFC Fight Night Shanghai. Dy has previously challenged for the Pacific Xtreme Combat Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Kyle Aguon at PXC 45. Dy has also seen his last two bouts go the distance and it has been almost a year since one of the fighter’s contests ended with a finish.
Young (11-4-0) is currently winless thus far during his UFC tenure, having dropped a bout to Alexander Volkanovski by decision at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Young has suffered a total of four defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came by way of decision. Young also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter and he also won the Industry Of Combat New Zealand Featherweight Title during that time.
