A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 245 according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as #5 Sergio Pettis is going to be in action against #9 Kai Kara France.
Pettis (18-5-0) has won just one of his last three bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tyson Nam at UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Pettis has competed as both a flyweight and bantamweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 9-5-0 in the promotion. Sergio is the younger brother of Anthony Pettis, who is a former WEC and UFC Lightweight Champion.
France (20-7-0-1NC) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated the trio of Elias Garcia, Raulian Paiva and Mark De La Rosa. France also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before losing to Alexandre Pantoja. France has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
