Report: Sijara Eubanks Faces Pannie Kianzad At UFC Vegas 17

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 17 as #13 Sijara Eubanks faces #14 Pannie Kianzad.

Eubanks (6-5-0) has won two of her last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Sarah Moras and Julia Avila. Eubanks is competing for the fourth time in 2020, making it her most active year as a professional MMA fighter. Eubanks has seen her last eight fights go the distance and it has been over four years since the fighter got a finish.

Kianzad (13-5-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having defeated Jessica-Rose Clark and Bethe Correia. Kianzad hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with her last loss coming to the aforementioned Avila at UFC 239. Kianzad has competed 18 times as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of those bouts went the distance.

UFC Vegas 17 takes place on Saturday, December 19 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
