A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Adelaide according to Mokhtarian himself as Suman Mokhtarian is in action against Tyler Diamond.
Mokhtarian (8-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over six years. Mokhtarian is also returning to action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout to place in August of 2017. Mokhtarian has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and has only gone the distance once.
Diamond (9-1-0) is currently winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Bryce Mitchell at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. Diamond also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Jay Cucciniello. Diamond also competed four times in the Global Knockout promotion and is currently undefeated in that organization.
UFC Fight Night Adelaide takes place on Saturday, December 1 from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
