Report: Tanner Boser Replaces Justin Tafa At UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till

Justin Tafa has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till, replacing him against Raphael Pessoa is Tanner Boser.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, although a reason for Tafa’s withdrawal isn’t known at this time.

Pessoa (10-1-0) has won just one of two when competing in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Jeff Hughes at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Pessoa has also suffered just one loss as a pro MMA fighter and that came to Ciryl Gane at UFC Fight Night Uruguay. Pessoa has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Boser (18-6-1) has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Daniel Spitz and Philipe Lins. Boser is a former Unified MMA Heavyweight Champion, defeating Jarred Kilkenny at Unified MMA 37 to claim the gold. Boser has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of decision.

UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till takes place on Saturday, July 25 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Robert Whittaker and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
