A bantamweight division affair has been added to UFC 232 according to Jim Edwards of MMANYTT as Tom Duquesnoy is going to be in action against Nathaniel Wood.
Duquesnoy (16-2-0-1NC) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over the duo of Patrick Williams and Terrion Ware. Duquesnoy is a former two division champion under the BAMMA promotion, as he held both the bantamweight and featherweight titles in the organization. Duquesnoy has seen five of his nineteen professional MMA bouts go the distance and Duquesnoy has won four of those encounters.
Wood (14-3-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Johnny Eduardo by second round submission at UFC Fight Night Utica. Wood is a former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion and defended the gold three times before signing with the UFC earlier this year. Wood has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event made official at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
