A new threat is making his way over to the UFC Featherweight Division as the promotion has reportedly signed Nate Landwehr to a deal.
Sucker Punch Entertainment, who represents Landwehr, made the announcement of the signing via Instagram:
Landwehr (13-2-0) is the current M-1 Challenge Featherweight Champion, but is going to be relinquishing the gold that he is now a part of the UFC roster. Landwehr won the M-1 Challenge Featherweight Title at M-1 Challenge 95, defeating Khamzat Dalgiev by second round TKO to claim the gold. Landwehr is going to enter the promotion on the strength of a seven fight winning streak and he hasn’t been beaten in almost four years.
There is no word yet on when Landwehr is going to be making his UFC debut or whom that bout will come against.
