A featherweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 34 as Vince Murdock faces Luis Saldana.

Murdock (11-5-0) is competing for the first time since being cleared to fight again after battling a deadly brain disease. Murdock is also competing for the first time since being suspended by USADA for a failed drug test in early 2019. Murdock won just one of two when competing in Bellator, with that lone win coming over John Raio at Bellator 93.
Saldana (12-6-0) enters the contest riding a two-fight winning streak with those wins coming over Ramiro Hernandez and Carl Wittstock. Saldana is competing for the first time in almost two years, with his last fight happening at LFA 60 in February of 2019. Saldana has competed 18 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.
Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 34 takes place on Wednesday, November 4 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
