A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 31 as William Knight faces Cody Brundage.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Knight (6-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA loss, which came to Tafon Nchukwi at Cage Fury Fighting Championship 80. Knight previously competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Herdem Alacabek by third round TKO. Knight has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
Brundage (5-0-0) is undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted well over a year. Brundage has competed three times in the Lights Out Championship promotion, defeating Jesse Walthers and Erick Lozano (twice). Brundage has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.
