A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen as Youssef Zalal faces Seungwoo Choi.

Zalal (10-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having earned wins over Austin Lingo, Jordan Griffin and Peter Barrett. Zalal has not suffered a defeat in over a year with that last loss coming to Matt Jones via split decision at LFA 65 in May of 2019. Zalal has picked up half of his professional MMA wins by submission, while all of the fighter’s losses came by decision.
Choi (8-3-0) has won just one of three in UFC competition, with that lone win coming over Suman Mokhtarian at UFC Fight Night Busan. Choi has competed three times in the UFC and all of those bots went into the third round, with two of those going the distance. Choi is a former Top FC Featherweight Champion, defeating Min Gu Lee by fourth-round knockout to claim the gold.
UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen is set for Saturday, October 10 from a location to be announced with Marlon Moraes and Cory Sandhagen. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
