ONE Championship returned to Shanghai, China this morning, with Yoshihiro Akiyama returning to make his promotional debut, taking on Agilan Thani.
After four years of inactivity, Akiyama performed impressively but was unable to score the win, dropping a decision to Thani. That defeat makes it two straight for Akiyama, with the fan favorite winning just one of his last seven outings.
