In a battle of junior middleweight contenders whose careers are at a crossroads, Austin Trout and Terrell Gausha were not able to pick up a win on FS1.
The two fighters headlined the May 26 PBC on FS1 card from Biloxi, Mississippi but the fight ended in a split draw. Both fighters were looking to get back into title contention with a win in the main event. Trout, a former champion, last fought in the summer of 2018 when he lost to then-WBC titleholder Jermell Charlo. Gausha has been trying to get another shot at a title after his first attempt ended in disaster when he was soundly beaten by Erislandy Lara in 2017.
