UFC Vegas 9: Thiago Moises, Marcos Rogerio de Lima Test Positive For COVID-19

UFC Vegas 9 will proceed with just seven fights after Thiago Moises and Marcos Rogerio de Lima test positive for COVID-19.

Moises vs. Jalin Turner, and de Lima vs. Alexander Romanov have both been scrapped from UFC Vegas 9 just hours before the event. Combate was first to report Moises' test and MMA Fighting reported news of de Lima's situation. Both fighters represent American Top Team (ATT). Coaches Katel Kubis and Leonardo “Macarrao” dos Santos also tested positive.

More and more fighters have tested positive for COVID-19. Glover Teixeira vs. Thiago Santos was postponed due to a positive test, and Cody Garbrandt recently contracted the novel coronavirus.
