Jey Uso and Damian Priest scored a major win on WWE Raw, as they beat the reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Liv Morgan attacked Rhea Ripley on the September 2nd episode of WWE Raw, and Damian Priest ran in for the save. He made it clear that he wanted a match with The Judgment Day, but Adam Pearce would only book a tag team match. Ripley then told Priest that a certain someone said "YEET" when she asked him to team with Priest.
In the main event, Priest and Uso faced WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day. Priest and Uso worked together like a well-oiled machine, but the champions took control at different points. Uso was on the verge of victory, but Morgan interfered. Ripley came out on a crutch, and Morgan mocked her. Ripley then hit Morgan with the crutch, prompting Morgan to run away.

Priest and Uso then clinched the win with a Razor's Edge and an Uso splash.
This marked the second time that Uso beat the champions. He and Sami Zayn defeated the duo in a non-title match on the July 22nd episode of WWE Raw.
