Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader and interim heavyweight champ Valentin Moldavsky are set for a title unification bout at Bellator 273 on January 29 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bellator President Scott Coker announced the matchup himself via his official Twitter account. Bader will make his return to heavyweight for the first time since September 2019 and will try to rebound from a 51 second TKO loss to Corey Anderson in the semi-finals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix at Bellator 268. Moldavsky on the other hand has won six fights in a row and is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Timothy Johnson back at Bellator 261.
