Rising star and UFC bantamweight contender, "Suga" Sean O'Malley likes the idea of a future showdown with fellow contender Adrian Yanez.
O'Malley spoke with reporters at the media day for this Saturday night's UFC 276 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, Nevada ahead of his clash with veteran Pedro Munhoz, and addressed Yanez's callout of him back at UFC on ESPN 37, explaining that he's been trying to face the 28-year-old La Porte, Texas product for a while now.
"Ya, that was a super impressive performance," O'Malley said. "Super slick boxer, very well rounded. I was actually calling him out before I got this fight booked trying to fight him. You can go back and look on Twitter, he didn't seem like he was too into that fight. He got some confidence now, he beat someone. Obviously, we're both growing. He needs to win a couple more fights, I'm gonna win a couple more fights. I could see that fight happening."
