UFC middleweight contenders Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira are scheduled to meet at UFC 277 on July 30.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion has yet to officially announce anything regarding the event or bout themselves. Strickland is on a six-fight winning streak currently and is coming off of a split-decision victory over Jack Hermansson at UFC Vegas 47 in his latest outing. Pereira meanwhile has won his last five fights and will try to build on a unanimous decision win over Bruno Silva back at UFC Vegas 50.
