A pair of bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City as #11 Leslie Smith faces #13 Aspen Ladd and #15 Magomed Bibulatov faces Yuta Sasaki.
Smith (10-7-1) enters the bout on the strength of a two fight winning streak, last defeating Amanda Lemos at UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Smith had previously challenged for the Invicta FC Flyweight Title, losing to then champion Barb Honchak at Invicta FC 7.
Ladd (6-0-0) has already earned a single win under the UFC banner, which came over Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night Gdansk. Ladd also competed five times in the Invicta FC promotion, which includes a win over fellow UFC fighter Amanda Bobby Cooper.
Bibulatov (14-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to John Moraga at UFC 216. Bibulatov was the first and only WSOF Flyweight Champion, defeating Donovan Frelow at the WSOF 24 to win the belt.
Sasaki (20-5-2) has won three of seven fights in the UFC, but his last bout was a loss to Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night Japan. Sasaki has spent the majority of his professional MMA career competing in Japan, fighting in such promotions as DEEP and Shooto.
UFC Fight Night Japan takes place on Saturday, April 21 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
