The Octagon's latest trip to the Big Apple seems to have been a success, as last month's UFC 268 pay-per-view reportedly brought in 700,000 buys in the United States.
The figures were first reported by Sports Business Journal's John Ourand (h/t TSN's Aaron Bronsteter) and the number is expected to grow when international buys are included. The event which was headlined by a UFC welterweight title rematch between rivals Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington comes in as the fourth-highest PPV figure for the promotion in 2021 (h/t MMA Mania). Also on the card was the rematch for the UFC women's strawweight title between Rose Namajunas and Weili Zhang, as well as the potential fight of the year between Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler.
