Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor was arrested this past Monday after allegedly destroying a person's cell phone outside of the Fountainbleau Miami Beach Hotel.
Ahmed Abdirzak was that person who's cell phone was destroyed, with Abdirzak losing pictures of his child and a phone valued at $1,000.
Video of the incident between McGregor and Abdirzak has surfaced thanks to TMZ Sports, which can be seen above.
McGregor has since been released from jail after posting bond, but is due back in court on April 10 for arraignment. The arrest came at a bad time for the UFC star, who is still serving a six month suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl. McGregor had also just finished serving a community service sentence in the state of New York for his role in the UFC 223 bus attack.
The arrest is not expected to impact the aforementioned suspension or the finished community service sentence in any way.
Outside of this video showing McGregor beating up a cell phone, another video surfaced recently showing McGregor having an altercation with an unnamed person inside of the LIV nightclub, with that confrontation happening before the cellphone incident.
