It was revealed late last night that Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and his cornermen tested positive for the coronavirus. Measures have already been taken by the UFC to remove Souza and those cornermen from the hotel and have them self-isolate at an undisclosed location.
Shortly after the news of Jacare’s positive test broke out, a video was posted on Twitter by Austin Price, showing Souza interacting with other fighters who are competing tonight at UFC 249.It should be noted that Souza was shown wearing a face mask and gloves when interacting with the other fighters.

None of the other fighters competing on tonight’s card tested positive for the coronavirus.
Uriah Hall, who Souza was supposed to face at UFC 249, would issue the following statement on the matter via Twitter:
@JacareMMA Brother I know it sucks I’m sorry you have to go through this I am beyond devastated for the missed opportunity I wish you nothing but recovery for you and your family.
