Brian Ortega returned to action after a year-plus layoff in the main event of UFC Fight Island 6, defeating Chan Sung Jung by way of unanimous decision.
One of the highlight reel strikes that Ortega landed on Jung during their fight was a spinning back elbow strike that landed late into round two. Jung mentioned in a post-fight statement on Instagram that he didn't remember the final three rounds of the fight against Ortega after eating the spinning back elbow strike.

A victorious Ortega earned a title shot against featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski with the UFC, so Volkanovski may be the next victim of the spinning back elbow strike.
