Rapper Wiz Khalifa who is an avid combat sports fan and an investor in the Professional Fighters League recently opened up about maybe wanting to compete in a fight one day himself.
He recently spoke with Maxim's Tom Taylor about his investment into the PFL and if he would ever consider getting into the cage one day. The 34-year old was non-committal but did say if the right opportunity presents itself, he definitely would be open to the idea of fighting.
“I’ve always been a boxing fan and when MMA started to become big, my cousins convinced me to start training in jiu-jitsu. That was about 5 years ago,” Khalifa said (h/t BJPenn.com). “I love watching and (fighting is) definitely something I think about, but for now I’m happy as an owner. But you never know. I am always training so if the opportunity presents itself and is something that could be fun and good for everyone, I could see myself getting in the ring.”
