WWE Show Coming to Cleveland: The Spotlight of the 2024 SummerSlam

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has a long tradition of organizing a central summer wrestling event called SummerSlam. Its 37th edition is going to be held on August 3, 2024, at Cleveland Browns Stadium, with a plethora of top-tier fighters competing before the expected 60,000 spectators. After the much-praised 2024 WrestleMania, which was held in Philadelphia on April 6-7, 2024, WWE is out for another spectacular gathering of remarkable wrestlers.

Probably the most awaited match at the 2024 SummerSlam is the one between Damian Priest and Gunther. In this fight for the World Heavyweight Championship title, some of the best Bitcoin sports betting sites and their traditional counterparts are giving Priest a strong advantage with odds of -600 compared to Gunther’s +350. Having lost the fight for the Intercontinental Championship winner at the aforementioned WrestleMania this year, Gunther has switched his attention to SummerSlam. During his preparations, Gunther dominantly defeated Jey Uso in the King of the Ring semifinal, won the final, and qualified for the World Heavyweight match.

Priest, as the reigning champion, has had a winning streak this year, having beaten Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso. Still, he doesn’t look as motivated and powerful as Gunther, which is why his odds are lower. But let’s wait for the match and see how things will work out. Fun trivia: his fans will also have a chance to watch his live show named ‘Damian Priest Live’, during the SummerSlam weekend.

The second most expected fight at the 2024 SummerSlam is the one between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes. Sikoa comes as an underdog in this clash, but his results this year shouldn’t be underestimated. Also, he’s been claiming the title of Tribal Chief for a while, and here’s a perfect opportunity for him to prove he’s worth getting a chance to take it over.

Rhodes, on the other hand, is the Undisputed WWE champion, as he defeated Roman Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania, and has taken the scalp of Logan Paul and AJ Styles in the meantime. His current shape and victories this year speak in favor of his probable win against Sikoa.

The most exciting match in the women’s competition is the World Championships title between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Morgan is the reigning champion, and she’s recently explained how she boosted her confidence, which led her to this success. Even though Dominik Mysterio, Morgan’s ally in the last few months, has just turned his back on her, expressing his admiration for Rhea Ripley, Liv still gets better odds at the dawn of this match.

As Ripley was recovering from her injury for some time, she probably won’t reach the desired shape before SummerSlam kicks off. If you’re a fan of Ripley’s, you should keep rooting for her because the status and talent she has shown so far will eventually win her one of the major titles. However, if you want to actually place a wager on any of these two, make sure to diversify your investment; check out various traditional and crypto betting options to get the most favorable odds for each of them.
