Yoel Romero vs. Melvin Manhoef Co-Headlines Bellator Paris In May

Yoel Romero will take on Melvin Manhoef in the co-main event of Bellator's upcoming event in Paris, France on May 6.

The promotion officially announced the booking themselves, confirming the 205-pound clash for the May event in Paris. Romero is currently riding a four-fight losing streak, the longest of his respective career, and will look for his first win in Bellator against Manhoef. The former UFC middleweight title challenger and 2000 Olympic silver medalist is coming off of a split-decision loss in his promotional debut to former Bellator light heavyweight champion, Phil Davis, back at Bellator 266. Manhoef meanwhile is 3-3-1 in his last seven outings and will try to rebound from a second-round TKO defeat to Corey Anderson at Bellator 251.
