EVIL and SANADA have scored a big milestone in their careers -- they've become the latest team to win the World Tag League.
They defeated the Guerillas of Destiny tonight to capture the trophies. After Tanga Loa had been put through a table, it boiled down to them and Tama Tonga. Tonga tried everything in his power to survive, but after taking the Darkness Falls and the new version of the Magic Killer, he succumbed to a STO by EVIL.
After the match, EVIL called out the Killer Elite Squad, who came out to confront them. They both said some words, and made clear that on January 4th, they'll prove that they are the best team in New Japan. After they backed off, the duo celebrated with their trophies as streamers flew around.
This marks the second time that Guerillas of Destiny have gone to the finals, only to lose. It was the same situation as last year as they failed to defeat the winners of that tournament, Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma.
