A series of returns went down during the first hour of Raw.
Bo Dallas was first seen in a segment between Kurt Angle and the Miz, where Angle put Miz in a match later that night with the Intercontinental title on the line. He had been sidelined several weeks with the mumps.
Nia Jax reappeared on the show wrestling Bayley after a several week hiatus. She quickly picked up a win over Bayley and Alicia Fox, team captain of the women's elimination match at Survivor Series, named her as one of the participants in the bout.
As Nia Jax was leaving, Samoa Joe was the third big return in the first hour of Raw. He had been gone since SummerSlam after suffering knee and nose injuries. Joe and Jax met eyes as he made his way to the ring. He quickly established himself as a heel in his return promo, then promptly defeated Apollo Crews. When Titus O'Neil got in his face, he was quickly taken out as well.
Roman Reigns, also suffering from the mumps. is still out of action but is expected to be back by Survivor Series. There is no word on the status of Bray Wyatt, who was the third person suffering from the viral infection
