Trump Thanks JBL For Saying "America Wanted A Change" When Electing Him As President

John Bradshaw Layfield believes President Trump’s election into office is a reflection of the country wanting a change.

Appearing on Fox News, JBL said that the country’s highest position of power constantly having presence from either the Bush or Clinton families made people want to elect an outsider for president. JBL has said that there is a media bias against the president.

“We have had in Congress or in the White House since 1980 either a Bush or a Clinton either in the White House or running for office,” Layfield said. “America wanted a change and that’s what they got with Donald Trump. The media doesn’t reflect that. The president has called out several media outlets as being fake news and I think that’s created a bias against him.”

President Trump even tweeted at JBL in full support of his comments. The short video of JBL’s comments on Fox News could also be seen in Trump’s tweet.

The former WWE Champion and current SmackDown Live broadcaster often appears on Fox News programming. Trump and WWE have had a long-standing relationship since the 1980s and Trump even named Linda McMahon, Vince’s wife, as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration shortly after Trump was elected as president.
