Fightful.com is happy to announce that longtime UFC fighter Patrick Cote has joined the team, and will serve as Fightful MMA Podcast co-host on Mondays.
Alongside "Showdown" Joe Ferraro, Patrick Cote will break down the latest news, fights and controversies surrounding the world of MMA. Cote will also go in depth on topics related to MMA, unknown to the casual fan.
Cote retired last Saturday following a war with fellow UFC title challenger Thiago Alves. In the years prior, the Quebec, Canada native earned his way to a main event championship bout with Anderson Silva at UFC 90. Cote is also remembered fondly for his run on The Ultimate Fighter 4, as well as his exciting short-notice fight against Tito Ortiz at UFC 50. Cote knocked off the likes of Kendall Grove, Ricardo Almeida, Alessio Sakara, Josh Burkman, Joe Riggs, Ben Saunders and others. Upon entering the UFC's welterweight division in 2013, Cote won 5 of his first six fights.
Fightful.com's podcast network includes UFC fighter Elias Theodorou, UFC veteran Sean Pierson, UFC Hall of Famer Frank Trigg, legendary cruiserweight wrestler Shane Helms, and former UFC fighter/pro wrestler Matt Riddle.
