Edge gets an updated look to support his rejuvenated career in the latest look at WWE 2K22.
The road to WWE 2K22 has been a unique one. After WWE 2K21 was canceled due to the poor reception to the bug-littered release of WWE 2K20 in 2019, 2K Games decided to spend a year working on the next simulation release in the WWE video game franchise to ensure the best quality possible for consumers.
Thus far, we have seen an early trailer for WWE 2K22 featuring Rey Mysterio delivering 619 to Cesaro and now, we are getting an updated look at “The Rated R Superstar” in the first updated video game model of Edge since his return in 2020.

The last video game to release featuring an updated model of Edge was WWE 12. Released in October 2011 going to be, shortly after Edge had retired following WrestleMania 27. Every model since then has been a legends model for Edge. Before Royal Rumble 2020, it was believed that Edge would never wrestle again.
There will be more information about WWE 2K22 during SummerSlam. In the past, WWE video games have had their roster revealed during SummerSlam weekend, but there has been no inkling of any such occurrence this time around.
Fightful will have on-site coverage of WWE SummerSlam and Report any and all updates regarding WWE 2K22.
