The One True Ace is now one true champion.
Tessa Blanchard tried very hard to become the first female to ever be the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion, but it was not to be. Ace Austin won the championship in a Five-Way Ladder Match at Bound For Glory 2019. The match also featured Daga, Jake Crist, and new IMPACT signee, Ace Romero. Tessa overcame all of oVe, but Ace, and his trusty baton got the better of the third generation Knockout.
This has been a groundbreaking year for Tessa. Over the summer at IMPACT Slammiversary, she and Sami Callihan presented the first-ever intergender main event of a pay-per-view from a major global promotion. Meanwhile, Ace Austin is currently locked in a feud with Eddie Edwards over Eddie's wife, Alisha
Going into the AXS era of IMPACT, it appears that the young Austin will be a cornerstone player now that he holds the championship of IMPACT's signature division.
