Action Andretti's feud with the Jericho Appreciation will continue on the January 20 episode of AEW Rampage.
Andretti made his AEW TV debut on the December 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he scored a stunning upset win over former world champion Chris Jericho. Infuriated by the loss, Jericho blasted Andretti with a fireball the followings week. Jericho then focused his attention on his budding feud with Ricky Starks, who defeated the veteran on the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. Andretti tried to save Jericho from a post-match attack, but the JAS outnumbered them, so both men were left lying.
On the January 11 episode of Dynamite, Andretti and Starks took turns insulting Jericho's stablemates, including Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, and Daniel Garcia. During the January 13 episode of AEW Rampage, the broadcast team announced that Andretti will face Garcia next Friday.
